Eva, a student, inherits an old-fashioned derelict hotel on the shores of the Wolfgangsee. With the help of several girl friends and a group of young musicians she attempts to change the place into a successful pop hotel, the Black Horse Inn. Much against everybody's expectations any difficulties of competition with the neighbouring White Horse Inn are quickly resolved: the young owner of the latter establishment proposes marriage to Eva.
