HEIMAT III will be more than just the third part of the HEIMAT trilogy, it will be a narrative review of the century in its last decade. Its theme is "From Turning Point to Turning Point". We want to tell the stories in such a way that there is something for everybody in them, a surprise package with gifts for each of us. HEIMAT III is a tragicomic novel about Germany, telling about how we in the "Land of East-West" packed up and moved on, telling about dreams we started to dream and how our life became less and less German. But what did it become instead? Is it really true that we are waiting for a miracle at the end of the century, the "Miracle of Schabbach", which will rescue all of us?
