Professor Stefan Burger, a famous children psychologist has been offered the job of his life: An own institute for problem children, financed by the very rich, but cranky widow Mrs. Applewhite. The only term of contract is however ... he has to be father with experiences of his own. Rena, a student secretly fallen in love with Professor Burger, followed him and offers now to take on the role as his daughter. He accepts, unsuspicious that the old lady soon has noticed the whole lot and now tries to play a nasty trick.
